Redmaids’ High School is a vibrant and forward-thinking community, where 720 girls aged 7–18 are empowered to learn without limits. The School’s high-achieving educational culture nurtures confident and well-rounded young women equipped with the skills, creativity and mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Following the school’s recent integration into the GDST, we are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Transformation Lead to strengthen the school’s finance function during an important period of change.
Working closely with the Director of Finance and Operations, Regional COO and senior leadership, the postholder will lead a focused programme of financial transformation: strengthening controls and processes, updating budgeting, forecasting and management information tools, and ensuring that improvements are sustainable and fully adopted across the school.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a fully qualified accountant with significant experience of leading finance transformation or improvement within a complex organisation. The successful candidate will combine strong technical financial expertise with excellent judgement, the ability to build relationships quickly and the confidence to challenge and improve established ways of working.
This appointment is offered on a six-month fixed-term contract. The closing date for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 6 October 2026.
The Girls’ Day School Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection checks appropriate to the post, including online searches and checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
